You have most likely noticed that this site is still a work in progress. True, there are some bugs, broken links, image issues, and placeholders. As of today – January 18th – I am working diligently to transfer the site to a new host, reassign the domains, and finalize the odds and ends, including the bugs and broken links. Hopefully all will be smoothed out by the end of the week. I’ve decided to go live a bit early in order to light the proverbial fire beneath my efforts – for good and bad, I suppose. My name is Nicholas Fiore, I am an architect, designer, and lecturer in Boulder, Colorado. Fiore Building Workshop is my studio. *buildthink is my blog, sounding board, and thought collector, and I hope to exchange ideas with those who read it. With a bit more than a decade (so far) of professional experience in architecture and urban planning, sustainable design and remodeling, furniture and object design, and web sites and graphics, I'm aiming for a few decades more.
